If you plan to go to Patagonia, do take note that a reasonable level of fitness is required. So, if you do exercise regularly - for example, running, playing games, etc for 3 times a week, then you have some basic fitness. However, it will still be a good idea to do some walking with a load of 7-10kg, and do some staircase climbing up a 25-40 storey building to improve on your fitness level before going for this trek.

One of my friends who joined me is actually a regular runner and he add more training for walking with a load and climbing the staircase, and this is his first hike. And he could make it for the trip, and still moving ahead of a lady who is 20 years younger than him,

Weather - It is very unpredictable for the weather there, and it is usually very windy along the trail. The wind is so strong , that it could blow you off the edge of the cliff, and push you forward ... It can be cloudy too. Warm weather clothing is a must.

Do come back for more photos when I can sort out some of the best pictures for you.

Join me on my next trip to India - Jul 2015.

INDIA Trip is confirmed for the 02-14Sep. HIMACHAL PRADESH , Lahaul & Spiti area.

Like to have more information on the trekking in Patagonia.
